Fees
Our fee schedule generally ranges from $180 to $225 per hour, depending on the time and nature of the service provided. All fees follow the guidelines set by the Ontario Psychological Association for psychological consultation and counselling. While we cannot guarantee it, fee reduction arrangements and/or adjustment of treatment schedules may be available to help accommodate financial means. Your fee will be discussed during the intake interview. All efforts are made to provide affordable psychological services.
Cancellation Fees
If you need to cancel an appointment, as a courtesy, please provide the maximum possible notice. Cancellation within 24 hours of your appointment is subject to the full session fee.
Payments Due/Methods of Payment
For counselling services, payment for each session is due in full at the end of the session. Payment for psychological assessments is due at the time of the follow-up session, prior to the release of our report. Payments can be made by electronic funds transfer (preferred method), cash, or cheque. Please note that cheques returned for insufficient funds will be subject to an additional fee of $35.00.
Insurance Coverage
Psychological services offered through private practice are not covered by OHIP; however, counselling services are covered by most extended health benefit plans. Coverage varies between plans, so it is important that you check with your provider to determine coverage per session and/or calendar year, as well as whether or not a letter of referral is required. Upon payment of fees, we will issue a receipt that can be submitted to your insurance company for re-imbursement. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer direct billing at this time.
